After the success of our inaugural camp, the bar was set high and judging by the results, it looks like we exceeded it! Read on for comments and check out photos (courtesy of Steve Szilagyi) and video from the weekend.

“I loved hanging with other uke enthusiasts, classes, instructor concerts, and that you had an open mic for attendees.”

“I was going to try it once, but I’m thinking I’ll be back next year. Wonderful workshops with great instructors.”

“If you’re hesitant to attend because you’re unsure of your skill level, I attended after only tuning my uke the night before, and learning three chords during that time. I managed to survive through all of the beginner classes. Every aspect of the camp was incredible, and I feel completely rejuvenated. The talent, experience, and humor among staff was impressive. Everyone at camp was constantly laughing and smiling. I met many great individuals, and feel this camp is top notch. I learned a great deal of material and walked away feeling like my ukulele was an extension of myself, after 3 days of total immersion. Thank you so much for offering this camp, and I hope to return next year, ready for open mic night!”

‘What a fantastic weekend! Ben Hassenger does a great job getting top notch instructors together for of full weekend of learning and fun! Not to mention the great concerts, friendships and conversations that took place! I learned so much and will share with others. I’m looking forward to attending again next year!!!”

“Awesome weekend, full of music, learning and a real sense of community. It was like being at a family gathering with only your favorite relatives.”

“What a great event! I am impressed by the quality of teaching, and loved the sense of community during the event.”

“Totally awesome with simply fabulous teachers and staff. I will definitely go again.”

“The spontaneous jams were amazing and thank you so much to Sandy Weltman, Frank Youngman, and Gerald Ross who seemed to always begin them.”
