Katie DeNure is a certified Bilingual Literacy teacher, a singer/songwriter, and a classically trained vocalist who teaches guitar, ukulele, and voice in a wide range of styles. She is a devoted wife to Andy and is the mother of three little girls. Most of all, Katie loves to equip others to use their talents to serve others.
Since 2002, Katie has had the privilege of leading hundreds of youth conferences, women’s retreats, church services, and special events. Katie has been teaching private music lessons since 2008 and has worked with music programs all over the United States such as The Renaissance School for the Arts, The Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival, The Midwest Uke and Harmonica Festival, The Ashokan Ukes in Space Festival, The City of Lights Ukulele Festival, Heid Music’s Rock University, NAMM, and has traveled as far as Lima, Peru to serve as a music clinician teaching in both English and Spanish. In 2016, Katie started her YouTube channel, One Music School, which has gained over 400,000 subscribers that provides free resources for musicians of all levels. In addition to teaching in person and online, Katie has developed ukulele and guitar courses and resources for companies such as Cordoba and Enya Music.
Katie also offers business coaching to fellow musicians, music teachers, and aspiring entrepreneurs helping them thrive using their gifts and talents and develop practical action steps for their own businesses.
